Cocoa Mocha Cold Brew Recipe
Updated: Oct 14, 2020
Hey hey there!
When I first started making cold brew on the reg, it was holiday season + I was working the most I’d ever worked, ever. (Do not suggest this - not necessarily what I would have chosen but, more on that later.) Mornings were early and nights were late. So, when the sun came up and I rolled out of bed, I needed something strong and tasty.
I wasn’t about to waste my time on anything else. I saw @WhatRobinEats on the ‘gram post about a few cold brew recipes + after tweaking them myself, I knew that I’d found my newest and greatest love.
Imagine this: Even after much too little sleep (you guys, to THRIVE I need 9 - 10 hours. So, there’s that. I will never be in the camp of bragging about being about to survive on like 4 hours. Nope, not down.), I was EXCITED to wake up and drink this. If that doesn't say it all, I’m not sure what does.
And, I want the same for you.
Sometimes you just need a little chocolate in your life, right? I thought the same thing.
So, I wanted to meet that need for ya and have the OG cold brew coming right up - a good ol’ cocoa mocha!
Ingredients:
10 oz Cold Brew
⅓ cup of milk
1 - 1 ½ tbsp of powdered cocoa
1 - 1 ½ tbsp of vanilla simple syrup
¾ serving of vanilla collagen (optional)
Directions:
Put all of your ingredients into a mixer or blender. (I use a magic bullet + love it!)
Blend it up for between 20 - 30 seconds.
Pour over ice when finished!
That’s literally it. No mess, so easy and delicious.
If you’re a visual learner like myself, we made an IGTV with all the details for ya!
Lots of hugs, grit and grace - always,
Claire
